The housing projects include the construction of 473 villas in addition to the replacement of 53 houses and carrying out maintenance work on 76 houses. 

In line with the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Follow-up Committee of the Initiatives of UAE President has approved construction, replacement and maintenance of 602 residential villas for citizens in various emirates.

The decision is also based on the follow-up of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, of the President’s initiative to secure adequate housing for every citizen to ensure family stability and decent living for citizens.

The decision came during the committee’s meeting chaired by Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Committee. Al Za’abi highlighted the keenness of the committee on implementing of the directives of Shaikh Khalifa and expediting the completion of housing projects that tops the priorities of the leadership. He also hailed the continuous follow-up by Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
